Mr. Sameh Kamal achieved his LL.B. at the Faculty of Law, Cairo University (English Section), in 1999. He further obtained an LL.M. degree in Banking and Financial Law from Boston University School of Law, U.S in 2003. He further followed an internship program at Van Bael & Bellis LLP, Brussels, Belgium.
Mr. Kamal is a Senior Associate at ZH&P since 2012, his areas of expertise are: financial, corporate and energy law with previous experience in financial facilities, project finance, trade finance, capital market products, and concessions.
Before joining ZH&P, Mr. Kamal advised an international investor on all aspects relating to a wastewater project in a developing community through the PPP scheme. He advised several clients in relation to the legal aspects of the Tender Law, including bidding and transacting with government agencies. He further advised an international consortium in respect of bidding for the third mobile license in Egypt. Sameh was a member of the French based Onyx team handling and negotiating a major long-term waste disposal contract with Alexandria Governorate.
Mr. Kamal is a member in the Egyptian Bar Association since 1999 and was admitted before the Courts of Appeal in 2007. His working languages are Arabic and English.
