We are proud to announce that Zaki Hashem, Attorneys at Law, has been advising Kasrawy Group - a leading player in Egypt’s automotive sector - on a series of major strategic initiatives aimed at expanding the Group’s operations locally and regionally.
In Egypt, we advised Kasrawy Group on the launch of the locally assembled Citroën C4X - a significant milestone for both the Group and the country’s automotive industry. The new Citroën C4X is being assembled at the Arab American Vehicles (AAV) factory in Cairo in collaboration with Stellantis, Citroën’s parent company. We also advised Kasrawy Group on its agreement with SERES to distribute AITO-branded models in Egypt – marking the Group’s entry into the premium electric vehicle segment.
Regionally, we supported Kasrawy Group’s expansion into the Libyan market through the acquisition of the Jetour dealership, while also driving growth in various Libyan cities through strategic partnerships with local dealers. These strategic transactions mark important steps toward establishing a strong presence for Kasrawy Group in one of the region’s most promising automotive markets.
Our role included advising on the legal aspects of these milestone projects, covering the structuring of cross-border partnerships, local relevant arrangements, and dealership acquisitions. Our team of lawyers was led by Hossam Hafez, Partner, and included Mostafa Elbastawissy, Senior Associate, and Zeina Fawzy, Associate.
Congratulations to Kasrawy Group on these remarkable achievements! We look forward to continuing to support the Group’s ambitious local and international growth plans.
