Ms. Lana Abdel Rassoul, , has joined ZH&P in 2015 to 2018 and then re-joined in February 2021 to date. With special focus on the Corporate practice, Mergers & Acquisitions, Private Equity, Technology and Commercial, she is steadily gaining expertise in advising national and international clients and is involved in drafting, reviewing and negotiating corporate agreements (joint venture agreements, shareholders’ agreements, management agreements, among others), and other different types of commercial agreements - including consultancy and service agreements, distribution agreements, among others. Ms. Abdel Rassoul is also involved in drafting and preparing due diligence reports on companies working in different fields of business, and has participated in various acquisitions and IPO projects

Advising (including negotiating and drafting all related transaction documentations) a leading construction group company with respect to its acquisition of a stake in a digital agency company. (2022)
Advising (including negotiating and drafting all related transaction documentations) a leading construction company in relation to the establishment of one of the first venture studios in Egypt in association with a number of seasoned renowned businessmen and a digital agency. (2022)
Advising (including negotiating, reviewing and/or drafting all related transaction documentations) Ebtikar Holding for Financial Services S.A.E (“Ebtikar”) with respect to Vodafone Egypt Telecommunications S.A.E’s subscription in a stake of the share capital of Ebtikar’s non-banking financial services subsidiaries and taking over the management of these subsidiaries. Advising (including negotiating and reviewing all related transaction documentations) the majority shareholder of an Egyptian company (owner of renowned nurseries in Egypt) with respect to the sale of a stake in the company. (2021).

Ms. Lana achieved a French LL.B. from Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne in 2012 and an Egyptian L.L.B from Cairo University in 2013. She also has a Masters I degree from University of Paris 1 Pantheon Sorbonne in International and European Business Law (2013), and a Masters II degree from University of Toulouse -1 Capitole (2014) in International Business Law.
