ZH&P goes beyond the mere compliance with Corporate Social Responsibility (“CRS”), by effectively engaging in furthering the social good. The Firm also encourages its members to engage in social service and allows them the time and space for that. Many past and present members of the Firm are well known public figures in the field of social responsibility and public service.
ZH&P’s pursuit of its philanthropic approach towards the community includes monetary donations and aid given to nonprofit organizations and communities. Donations are made in areas such as the arts, education, health, social welfare, disabilities and the environment, among others. In doing so, the Firm has created deep linkages between its business strategies and CSR, where it has designed certain financial schemes that benefit the end-user of the CSR.
In addition, ZH&P offers pro bono work for several associations and foundations and is a major contributor (in cash) to NGOs working in various fields. The donations of the Firm are made to more than twenty programmes.
The Firm contributes to higher education programmes for Egyptian lawyers. This includes ZH&P’s members, in support of their educational progress and others through specialized organizations, such as “the Chevening Scholarship” to which ZH&P is honoured to be a contributor.
ZH&P also contributes with prizes donated by the Founding Partner and the Firm in the names of leading Egyptian legal figures, such as Al Sanhury.
