Having pioneered by creating the first law internship program in Egypt, ZH offers summer internships to law students. Our seasoned lawyers are your mentors.
Summer Internship Program
Founded in 1953, Zaki Hashem is one of the oldest and largest full-service law firms in Egypt and the Middle East, with more than seven decades advising leading multinational corporations, governments, and financial institutions across every major sector of the economy.
Our Summer Internship Program was the first of its kind in Egypt and remains its most established. Now in its third decade, it is rebuilt and refined annually to reflect how legal practice is actually evolving.
The program is designed for those who intend to practice at the highest level and is highly selective accordingly. The firm has long viewed it as the most reliable way to identify and develop the lawyers we eventually want at our own table, and a meaningful share of our current associates and partners first walked through the door as interns. Those selected gain a foundation, a network, and a set of mentors that tend to stay with them for the rest of their careers.
Over three weeks, interns are immersed in the working life of the firm. The program is built around three pillars:
Eligibility
The program is open to law students in their final two years of study and to recent graduates of accredited universities.
