Samir Sayed, Partner, is member of Zaki Hashem’s Litigation team since 2001. His input to litigation matters includes drafting memoranda, statements of claims, legal opinions and negotiations towards amicable dispute settlement. He is also well versed in sales tax and VAT related disputes.

- Representing SHeri 61 EOOD in the case filed against a supplier of agricultural produce to claim a refund for failing to supply white beans. (2025)

- Cases relating to the Civil Code for clients such as: Cargill Trading Egypt, Egyptian Fertilizers Company, Finanziaria Saccarifera Italo Iberica S.P.A., LEONI Wiring Systems Egypt SAE, the Arab Company for Arts and Publishing.
- Misdemeanors relating to commercial adulteration for clients such as: Le Méridien Hotel and Aromatco SAE.
The Legal 500 ranked Samir as “Leading Partner” in Litigation in 2025. He is member of the Egyptian Bar Association since 1993 and was admitted before the Court of Cassation in 2011. He is also member of the Egyptian Tax Society. He is proficient in Arabic and English.
Samir has achieved the LL.B. from the Faculty of Law, Ain-Shams University, in 1991.
