Amr Salama, Senior Associate, joined ZH in 2023 with a focus on the practice of Litigation. He is well-versed in preparing statements of claims, legal memoranda, and opinions in civil lawsuits. He also pleads before criminal and misdemeanor courts in various criminal lawsuits.
He is well-versed in handling felonies related to money laundering and embezzlement of public funds, forgery of official documents and documents of joint stock companies, employment of funds, foreign exchange dealings – as well as libel and slander (defamation) misdemeanors and misdemeanors related to infringement of intellectual property rights, consumer protection, communications, and information technology. Felonies and misdemeanors related to crimes of assaulting persons. He also handles civil lawsuits such as rescission, obligation, and compensation lawsuits and enrichment without cause lawsuits and others.
With 17 years of experience, selected examples of his expertise include handling:
- Lawsuits related to credit facility agreements of a foreign bank. (2023 – In progress)
- Felonies of embezzlement of funds from a joint stock company against one of its employees. (2023 – In progress)
- Supply and tax evasion misdemeanors for a leading company in the FMCG industry. (2023 – In progress)
Amr is member of the Egyptian Bar Association since 2009 and he is admitted before the courts of appeal since 2016. He is proficient in Arabic.
He achieved the LLB from the Faculty of Law of Beni Suef University in 2008 as well as two diplomas in Special and Criminal Laws (equivalent to LLM) from Cairo University’s Faculty of Law. Additionally, he received three certificates of appreciation from Civil Law senior professors and jurists at the Faculty of Law of Cairo University for being the best student in the subject of Civil Law – as well as a Specialized Diploma in the Special Law. He has also received a certificate of appreciation from the Faculty of Law of Cairo University for being the top of his class in the Diploma in Criminal Sciences.
