Omar Abou Elenain, Senior Partner, joined Zaki Hashem, Attorneys at Law, in 1999. As the Senior Partner in charge of Litigation, his expertise covers the disciplines of Litigation in commercial procedures and penalties, employment, social security, tourism, capital market, construction and real estate. He also specializes in commercial and civil contracts as well as providing consultation and legal advice in the field of banking and financial services.

  • Representing Attijariwafa Bank in the criminal case filed against an employee for forgery of official documents during his employment at the Bank and the embezzlement of funds belonging to clients of the Bank. (2025)
  • Representing SHeri 61 EOOD in the case filed against a supplier of agricultural produce to claim a refund for failing to supply white beans. (2025)
  • Representing Park Avenue Company in two cases filed to seek the termination of unit sale contracts in Park Avenue project due to the purchasers’ breach of payment obligations. (2024 & 2025)
  • Representing Hikma Pharmaceuticals in the case filed by a former employee requesting labor entitlements and a compensation for alleged unfair dismissal. (2025)
  • Representing Grand Nile Tower Hotel in the case filed by an employee requesting his appointment documents and claiming labor entitlements.(2025)

  • Representing Arab Bank in a breach of trust misdemeanor case filed by a client against the Bank’s legal representative, in retaliation for legal judgments previously obtained by the Bank against the claimant in connection with credit facility agreements. (2024)
  • Representing Park Avenue Company in the case filed against Totex Garments Company, seeking the termination of a unit sale contract in Park Avenue project due to breach of payment obligations. (2024)
  • Representing Grand Nile Tower Hotel in the case filed by an employee requesting a share in annual profits. (2024)
  • Representing Grand Nile Tower Hotel in the case filed by the Hotel against an employee and requesting his dismissal in view of his unjustified absence. (2024)
  • Representing Conrad Cairo Hotel in two cases filed by employees requesting the refund of amounts deducted from the service charge. (2024 & 2025)
  • Advising Hilton Worldwide Group in negotiating, drafting, and concluding ten collective labor agreements. (2023)
  • Advising Conrad Cairo Hotel in negotiating, drafting, and concluding a number of collective labor agreements. (2023)
  • Representing the Arab Bank in the case filed by an individual requesting imbursements from the Bank in the amount of EUR 10,000 and EGP 500,000. (2021)
  • Representing Philips Medical Systems Egypt in the case filed against Nawah Medical Investment Company requesting EGP 12 million for the supply and installation of medical equipment. (2019)
  • Representing the Arab Bank in the appeal filed by a claimant against the Bank and other respondents to challenge an earlier judgment requesting EGP 630,000,000 as compensation for material and moral damages. The Court obligated the respondents to jointly pay EGP 200,000 to the claimant. (2016)
  • Representing Hilton International Company (Egypt Branch) in the case filed by a claimant requesting an indemnification of EGP 6 million against employment charges claimed to be due from 1984.
  • Undertook the reconciliation and settlement negotiations leading to the signing of the Collective labour agreement between Hilton Fayrouz Resort Sharm El Sheikh and its employees over the disputed proceeds of the 12% service charge collected by the Hotel. (2015)

Omar was admitted before the Egyptian Court of Cassation in 2011. He is proficient in Arabic and English.  He achieved his LL.B. from Ain-Shams University’s Faculty of Law in 1986.
