ZH advises European Universities in Egypt on the EGP 560 million minority investment by B Investments

We are pleased to share that Zaki Hashem, Attorneys at Law, has advised European Universities in Egypt (EUE) on the acquisition by B Investments, BPE Partners' flagship investment vehicle, of a significant minority stake for approximately EGP 560 million (ca. USD 10.8 million).

Established in 2021 and headquartered in the New Administrative Capital, EUE enrolls approximately 2,000 students and hosts three international universities, namely, the University of London (under the academic direction of The London School of Economics and Political Science, UCL, King's College London, and others), the University of Lancashire, and the University of East London.

The proceeds will support the expansion of student capacity and EUE's continued growth as one of Egypt's leading private higher education platforms. The transaction further extends the firm's leading track record across the M&A and the education sectors.

Completion of the transaction remains subject to customary regulatory approvals.
