ZH advises Basata on Edge Holding’s acquisition of 30% equity stake

We are pleased to announce that we have represented Basata Microfinance ("Basata") in connection with its strategic partnership with Edge Holding for Investments SAE ("Edge"), under which Edge will acquire, through a capital increase, a 30% equity stake in Basata to support the company’s expansion and strengthen financial inclusion in Egypt.

Our team of lawyers advising on the transaction documents was led by Arig Ali, Partner and Head of M&A, and Lana AbdelRassoul, Senior Associate, with valuable support from Associates Marina Gamal, Laila Assar, and Youssef Hendy.
