Mohamed Atef, Senior Associate, joined ZH's Litigation Department in 2020 with a focus on civil, commercial and labour laws. In addition to drafting and reviewing contracts, his expertise includes providing legal opinions on civil, commercial and cybercrime cases. He also has experience working on arbitration cases filed before Cairo Regional Centre for International Commercial Arbitration. Furthermore, he excels in preparing opening statements for first instance and appellate lawsuits as well as conducting legal research and legal consultation to clients and in-house legal departments.

- Representing Conrad International Egypt Hotel LLC in the case against the Governor of Cairo to dispute the collection of tax difference related to the occupancy of hotel rooms. (In progress)
- Representing Otis Elevators Company Egypt SAE in the case filed by a former employee alleging rights to financial compensations. (In progress)
- Representing Eastern Company in 1200 cases filed by former employees (post exit through Voluntary Retirement Scheme) regarding alleged rights to annual profit sharing and other entitlements. (2023)
- Advising Hilton Worldwide Group in negotiating, drafting, and concluding ten collective labor agreements. (2023)
- Advising Conrad Cairo Hotel in negotiating, drafting, and concluding a number of collective labor agreements. (2023)
- Providing legal opinions to clients such as AlexBank and Phillips (Egypt).
- Preparing memos for clients on the cases handled by ZH.
- Preparing direct misdemeanor statements for clients such as the Arab Bank.
He is member of the Egyptian Bar Association since 2013 and has been admitted before the Court of Appeal in 2021. He is proficient in Arabic and English.
Mohamed achieved the LL.B. from Helwan University, Egypt, in 2012 and the Private Law Diploma from Ain Shams University, Egypt, in 2013.
