The German University in Cairo (GUC) hosted Mahmoud Shafik Youssef, Counsel at Zaki Hashem, to deliver to its students a training course to discuss the journey from law school to the legal profession and the code of conduct and professional ethics in the legal field. The course took place at the GUC campus on October 11th, 2023, and was delivered to the 4th year law students who were guided into the ways of building a successful career path and of facing professional challenges. The students were also presented with a comparative study on the code of conduct and professional ethics in the legal field and gained a comprehensive understanding of the similarities and differences between France, the USA, and Egypt. We extend our gratitude to GUC’s Professor Dr. Ashraf Gaber and Professor Dr. Saad El Masry for their invitation to deliver the course and their support in rendering a successful capacity building initiative to equip the GUC students with invaluable knowledge and skills to navigate the journey from law school to a successful career in a law firm.
